A New Day.......

This is titled a new day because this is something new. I have never attempted to write a blog before, so I don't actually know what is going to go on, who knows...Guess I should start with ....
I was born Linda Carol Jones on June 24, 1954 and yes that makes me almost 56 years old. I was the first child born to James and Dean Jones, the First Grandchild of Ray and Lucille Hudson and the first in several years for my grandparents Noah and Minnie Jones...So needlessto say I was very "SPOILED''. A few years later comes my little brother Terry and we are the only children our Parents had, except for several nieces and nephews that always were at our house and they all seem like my brothers and sisters. I love them all very much all their children seem more like my nieces and nephews rather than my cousins...I attended school from the first grade to the 8th grade at Nebo, as did my brother and both my boys and most of my cousins. I attended High School and graduated from West Hopkins High School located in a little community called Rabbit Ridge...All in all I have had a wonderful life, growing up in a small community in a rural area. In 1974 I met the love of my life....Charles Taylor... "Charlie". On July 5th we will be married for 36 years....Sometimes that seems forever, and I know it does for him. We have had a great life together, we have 2 boys Christopher Charles who is 35 and Jeremy Owen who is 28. At this present time Chris is divorced and has a 7 year old little red haired girl named Harley Nicole, she has been our little princess but now is growing out of this princess stage and going into another as she will progess on into other stages as she grows. Jeremy is married to Chasity Gibson and they have a little boy who is 5 named Gabriel Ryan, who is just a little wildcat.....Harley and Gabriel are the cutest things ever, I am not prejudice at all, this is the truth.....LOL.....I am a member of Oakley Home General Baptist Church and love my church it is my Home....I am proud to say that I am a 4th and 5th generation member, going back to the founding members, my great great grandparents Cadmus and Nancy Mangum on my Daddy's side.. On my Mother's side my Great Grandfather Elick Hudson was a Deacon at the Church.

So what to tell .....what to tell.......and write in this blog...it will come what to say and what to do...sometimes I may tell something that I remember from the past something that is funny for there are lots of funny things that have happened in my life. Some things I want to forget and Some things I cherish...So who knows what is to come...but one thing is ....I love my life I love my family and mostly I love my GOD for without him I would be NOTHING....

So until the next time....maybe tomorrow...maybe the next day....or maybe even a year from now....

  1. Hi Linda. Glad to see your blog. I too have a blog. I tend to write about what my family is doing or what I'm sewing or cooking at the time. I enjoy it and wish I had more time to do these things. I work full time now so I don't have a lot of extra time for much at all. I try to spend it with my family when I have any extra time.

    Hugs!
